Zrenjanin gets a Recycling Center
In the Multi media Room today a Contract on the building of a Recycling Center has been signed by the Director of Zrenjanin Company "Clean and Green" and the Director of Construction Company"Ratko Mitrović Dedinje" , in the presence of the Minister o f Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning, Oliver Dulić and the Mayor of Zrenjanin, dr Mileta Mihajlov.
The Contract is 56 million dinar worth and the Ministry provided 27 million, while the City participates with 29 million dinars.
The Mayor points out that the City often applies at open calls by the Ministry of Environment and that this is one of the results of that work
-Today we have started the works on the building of Recycling Center and actually we are finishing the works on the disposal station reconstruction. That is what we had promised to citizens a year ago and that is what we have done. There will be no more bad smells, no burning at the disposal station, so that we have solved one big ecological problem – said the Mayor.

Minister Dulić says that by signing this Contract Zrenjanin will get a modern recycling center in the next fifty days. The capacity of the Center will be 2,300 t of waste which up to now was disposed and now it will be recycled and several hundreds of people will get involved, and about 20 new jobs will be opened in the Center itself. – Dulić said.
Talking about the importance of the Recycling Center the Director of "Clean and Green " Company, Biljana Gligić says that waste is going to be collected, sorted and temporarily stored in this Center.
- The Center will cover the area of 1,100 m2, and different kinds of waste will be separately sorted so that citizens will be able to dispose car tyres, packings, solid waste etc – said she.
After the Contract signing the City Disposal Station was visited.
