1 May Football Tournament in Ečka

At the stadium of the football club "Jedinstvo" in Ečka, a traditional football tournament for the  youngest football players /age 8-10/ was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Zrenjanin, Goran Kaurić, and the balls, the present of the City of Zrenjanin was handed by the Vice President of the City Assembly, Predrag Jeremić.
- Today we are the guests of the club Ečka which has been working since 1945. The City has supported financially this Club since the conditions they have are inadequate. Here we have many young people and kids who are very enthusiastic about sport and it is better than hanging around drinking– said Kaurić.
 

 

 

The aim of the football Club "Ečka", as its President Slobodan Krajnovć says, is to make this tournament traditional and even more popular in the surrounding area, particularly with  young people, and the support of the City is  certainly  welcomed.
