''Witnesses of Lasting'' - Serbian monasteries and churches in Romanian Banat
Referring to the exhibition of the photographs "Witnesses of Lasting“ – Serbian monasteries and churches in Romanian Banat, the author Milorad Savić, a journalsit form Zrenjanin, ana photographs by Darko Dozet, photo reporter from Novi Sad, the Mayor of Zrenjanin, dr Mileta Mihajlov organised a reception yesterday for the delgation of the Serbs from Romania: prof. Dušan Popov, Ph.D., member of the Alliance of the Serbs in the Parliament of Romania, dr Steva Perinac, Director of Serbian High School "Dositej Obradović“ in Temisoara, eng Ognjan Krstić, a new Chairman of the Alliance of the Serbs, as well as dr Slavomir Gvozdenović, writer, the Chairman of the Assembly of the Diaspora of the Serbs.

According to the latest census there are about 18,500 Serbs in fifty towns and villages in the Romanian part of Banat.
