''The Danube Days'' in Zrenjanin

This  year the City of Zrenjanin participates in  "The Danube  Days" manifestation, and, as Ana Vujinov  from Environment Department says that on this occasion an art competition is organised for lower grade pupils of primary schools, topic “ I love the Danube“.
 
She invited citizens to join the team and pupils on 7 July when a day picnic will be organised at the Tisa bank. Workshops will be held for children to inform them about water and rivers protection – says Vujinov adding that all interested citizens can come on Saturday, 7 July at 10 o'clock in front of the City Hall, where the coaches will be waiting for them, food and beverages are provided by the organisers.
 

 

 

Milica Milović, the Coordinator  of the activity, on the behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, says more than 28 cities from all around Serbia will participate in this manifestation, and the final activity will be  held at Ada Huja, which will be the beginning of its revitalisation .

 

The Danube  campaign is a part of  the Project called "Partnership for the Green Danube" signed by Coca-Cola Company and its  biggest European  producer Coca-Cola Hellenic  and International Commission for  the Danube Protection (ICPDR), with the objective of  the river  and its environment improvement.
