As a part of the the programe "Support to local self-governments in the EU integrations process" the delegation of the Standing Conference of Cities and Municipalities (SKGO), including the Mayor of Zrenjanin, Ivan Bošnjak, M.Sci. participated in 10th Open Days in Brussels from 8th to 11th October.
The visit was organised by SKGO and Swedish Agency for international development cooperation, which financed OPEN DAYS, the seminars and workshops regarding the exchange of knowledge and experience of local and regional governments in Europe including 3 thematic priorities: Smart and green growth for all, territorial cooperation and delivering results.
The President of Provincial Government of Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtić also participated in OPEN DAYS as well as the President of the Municipalities of Vrnjačka banja and Batočina and many members of Vojvodina Paliament.
According to the Mayor of Zrenjanin, Ivan Bošnjak, M.Sci. and the member of SKGO Board the seminars and workshops included discussions on significance and options of regional cooperation expressing his hopes that the visit to Brussels will contribute to better use of the EU funds and attracting new investors.
