Traditional dance of Zrenjanin High School graduates

Traditionally, Zrenjanin High School graduates have finished their school year by graduate dance – quadrille, this time in Tiršova St. Zrenjanin joined "European Quadrille Dance Festival"  for the first time in 2007 and  since then more than thousand students, simultaneously with  students in  several other  European cities start  their dance at  city squares at  noon.. This year the graduates in 70 cities of seven states have danced including our country with Zrenjanin as one of the cities with the largest number of participants. We  look forward to the next year's "Graduation Dance"  to be held at its 10th anniversary  at the reconstructed  Square of Liberty.

 

 

 

The students of 9 Zrenjanin secondary schools,  1150 of them finished  the school year 2014/2015 and gathered at the square for the dance. 

 

The event was again supported by the City of Zrenjanin providing the necessary logistics choreography preparation, T-shirts and umbrellas for the participants.

 

 

 

All the participants, their teacher parents and friends were welcomed by the Mayor of Zrenjanin, Čedomir Janjić, who opened the event saying that it was one of the best pictures to be sent from Zrenjanin and wishing students successful further education.
