Skupstinagrada ZrenjaninaCity of Zrenjanin presentation at the biggest European Investment Fair
This year, for the sixth time, the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency of the Republic of Serbia (SIEPA) organised the presentation of the Serbian companies at the international real estate fair “EXPO REAL“ held in Munich form 8th to 10th October. The national stand of Serbia presented the investment opportunities of the cities of Zrenjanin, Subotica, Smederevo, Vranje and Novi Sad, and municipalities of Obrenovac and Pećinci, then VIP Novi Sad, as well we Delta Real Estate and Public Company Stara planina.
The City of Zrenjanin was represented by Deputy Mayor Čedomir Janjić and Mayor Deputy Ivan Dević.
Both of them confirmed that the Fair is an ideal opportunity for project presentations to potential investors and learning about the latest trends in industry since all leading companies of the world traditionally participate at this fair including seminars, panel discussions and conferences.
As they say, there is a great interest in investment in Serbia and they had talks with foreign partners, such as a Taiwanese company, introduced by the Serbian Consulate in Germany and interested in a big distribution center building , a particularly after being informed about free trade agreements with Russia and other countries.
Also they had some talks with a company from Israel, already running business in Serbia as well as some German companies interested in energy willow growing.
This year there were 1.700 exhibitors from 31 countries, real estate agents, business men, inventors and consultants, and representatives of cities and regions.
