Monument to King Peter I Karadjordjević

The monument to King Peter I of Karadjordjevic was rised for the first time in 1926 and was the work of sculptor Rudolf Valdec of Zagreb. It was removed by the fascists in 1941, and only the King's head, which is today preserved in the Zrenjanin Museum, is preserved from the demolished monument.
The monument was restored in 2005, a replica was made by academic sculptor from Bijeljina (Republika Srpska) Zoran Jezdimirović and on January 17, 2006, was solemnly unveiled by Crown Prince Alexander Karadjordjević, great-grandson of King Peter.
