Declaration on cooperation of Hradec Kralove and Banat regions

Today, in the Government of Vojvodina in Novi Sad the Deputy Mayor of Zrenjanin, Goran Kaurić, on the behalf of  the City of Zrenjanin, has signed a Declaration on cooperation in public administration, economy, education, innovations between the  region of Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic and the region of Banat. This strategic document was signed by the Provincial secretary of Labour, Employment and Gender Equality, Miroslav Vasin and the Head of the region of Hradec Kralove, Lubomir Franc, and apart from Zrenjanin City, the document was signed by the Presidents of Banat Municipalities Žitište and Bela Crkva, Dragan Milenković and Željko Crnogorac, the representatives of University of Novi Sad and University of Hradec Kralove, Vice Deans Pavle Sekeruš and Antonjin Slabi, as well as the Director of the Regional Agency for social economic development of Banat from  Zrenjanin, Irena Živković.

 

        

 

The Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Serbia, Josef Brož, was present at the official signing of the Declaration which will enable the exchange of experiences in the public administrations affairs and work on  joint international projects in accordance  with the EU policy. Regarding education a direct cooperation of schools and universities is expected with study visits, expert practice, language learning etc and   in regard to innovative entrepreneurship a support in the creating of favourable conditions for economy development, know-how exchange and joint development and work of companies and scientific research sector.    

 

     

 

All the present representatives agreed that the Declaration was only the first step of new forms of cooperation in the developing of traditionally good relations between the two countries, with a strong support of the Czech Republic to the EU membership of Serbia.
