Employment Fair

Today, in the Sport Hall Medison the first Employment Fair of 2012 has been organised with 29 employers offering 214 free positions in total.
 

The Fair is organised by the National Employment Agency and the local self-government.
 

The low qualification workers are the most demanded, particularly by foreign automotive companies – German “Draxlmeier” (50) and French “Mecaplast” (20).
 

Also, there is a demand  in  car mechanics, carpenters,   builders, butchers, kindergarten teachers, administrative staff etc.
 

The  Fair was opened by the Deputy Mayor  of Zrenjanin,  Goran Kaurić, stated that Zrenjanin  was one of the  cities with a high  unemployment rate but that the local government  was dedicated tot he  solving of the problem.
- We have managed to restart   some factories and provide some jobs, also we have been working of  direct foreign investment attraction, and particularly there is a problem of employment of those with 40 and more years of experience – said  Kaurić pointing out a good thing that there are many Zrenjanin employers offering jobs.

 

 

The Director of the Zrenjanin Department of  the National Employment Agency Pero Knežević emphasised that the Fair was not a p art of pre election activities but a regular spring  employment  fair. The  job demands   presented here are real  and the Fair is always organised at this time of the year, since back  in 2005, up to  now  13 fairs have been held, with more than 290 employers as participants, and more than 1,910 people have been employed through the Fair – said  Knežević
